Dr. Michael Spirito

Dr. Spirito is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology/Oncology and is presently the chief of hematology and medical oncology at Duke Raleigh Hospital. He has lectured extensively on the topics of anemia, bleeding disorders and oncology.

Sarah A. Stahmer, M.D., Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. SAEM Board of Directors.

Dr. Stahmer is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has been a program training director in Emergency Medicine for 15 years, building the programs at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Cooper/RWJ University Hospital and Duke University Hospital. Her academic interests are in ultrasound in emergency medicine, cardiovascular emergencies and medical education. She is has been on the board of directors of CORD and presently SAEM.
