David Plourd, M.D.
Dr. David Plourd is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, and also is an obstetric hospitalist at Scripps Hospital. Dr. Plourd has been lecturing nationally and internationally for over two decades on numerous women’s healthcare topics.
He was recently voted “Teacher of the Year” by the interns & residents at the Naval Medical Center.
Dr. Plourd is a Board Examiner for the American Board of OB/GYN. He is also an Expert Reviewer for several State Medical Boards.
Dr. Plourd also serves as a consultant for Dr. Oz, ABC News, Web-MD, Fox News, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, and Woman’s Day magazines.
Amy Harvey O’Keeffe, M.D., FACOG,
Dr. Harvey O’Keeffe is a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist at the Center for Women’s Health in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. She has been in private practice for 18 years and has a special interest in menopausal medicine. Dr. Harvey has been voted “Top Doc” by her physician colleagues in the Greater Philadelphia area for five years.
She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas and earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr Harvey completed her residency in the Department of OB/GYN at Temple University Hospital where she also served as chief resident. She travels world wide to educate healthcare professionals about the latest updates in cancer care in women. Dr. Harvey recently co-hosted of a medical radio program, “The Medical View: East Meets West,” which aired weekly on WWDM AM 860, in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Harvey O’Keeffe is also a Master Level Reiki Practitioner and she incorporates various modalities of complementary medicine in caring for her patients. Her humanitarian work is exemplified by her medical leadership of an annual medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic.
