Michael M. Raskin, MD, MS, JD, MPH, MA, MBA, FCLM
Neuroradiologist, University Medical Center
Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology, University of Miami School of Medicine
Legal Counsel to the Florida Radiological Society

Dr. Raskin is a Past President of the American College of Legal Medicine and a certified specialist in Legal Medicine and Medical Jurisprudence by the American Board of Legal Medicine. He is a frequent lecturer at national medical and legal medicine conferences. Dr. Raskin is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine, School of Law, and School of Public Health. His internship was in internal medicine on the Harvard Medical Service at Boston City Hospital, where he was a Clinical Fellow in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He completed a four year residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Nuclear Medicine, remaining on the medical faculty at the University of Miami as an Assistant Professor of Radiology. In addition to earning an MBA degree, he earned a Master of Science in Sociology as well as a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and Military Sciences.

Dr. Raskin is dual credentialed in both medicine and law, and a member of the Florida Bar and the District of Columbia Bar, and licensed to practice medicine in Florida and California. Currently, he is Legal Counsel to the Florida Radiological Society on legislative issues. Dr. Raskin is Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, Neuroradiology, and Legal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, American College of Nuclear Medicine, and American College of Legal Medicine.

Currently, he is a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Miami School of Medicine and practices Neuroradiology at the University Medical Center in Tamarac, Florida. Dr. Raskin is author of over 46 peer-reviewed articles in medical journals, 25 chapters in medical textbooks, and two medical monographs. He has presented more than 75 papers at national and international meetings. Dr. Raskin is Past President of the Florida Radiological Society and recipient of the Gold Medal for Outstanding Achievement.
