| Program Purpose / Objectives |
The purpose of this CME activity is to update practitioners on new pharmaceuticals and the current recommendations for managing commonly encountered or emerging diseases and potential biowarfare exposure.
Objectives: At the conclusion of this CME activity, participants shall be able to:
· Identify the Types and Management of Pneumonia
· Describe the Extent and Character of Emerging Infections
· Outline the appropriate selection of pharmaceutical agents
· Define the Immediate Effects and Management of Primary Bioterrorism Agents
· Recognize the Control of Nosocomial Infections
· Implement Medical Precautions in Travel
Conference Sessions generally take place during the days at sea (as cruise itinerary allows) to avoid conflicts with Ports of Call or evening entertainment.
