Program Purpose / Objectives

The purpose of this CME activity is to provide a 2005 update and broad review of the general management of children with a concentration on gastrointestinal disease.

Tentative Objectives for Activity:
“At the conclusion of this CME activity, participants shall be able to:
· Outline the management of the child with acute gastroenteritis
· Recognize the appropriate requirements for GI consultation
· Identify clinical manifestations of Hepatitis A through X
· Assess and manage common medical problems in children including:
Injury Prevention
Otitis Media
Enuresis
Asthma
Conference Sessions generally take place during the days at sea (as cruise itinerary allows) to avoid conflicts with Ports of Call or evening entertainment.
