LEARNING WHILE CRUISING!
While enjoying a family fun 7-day, 7-night, Caribbean cruise, Diabetes Camp at Sea “campers” of all ages are able to learn more about type 1 diabetes in children and adults from internationally recognized professionals including pediatric endocrinologists, nurses and dietitians.

The Diabetes Camp at Sea cruise is a unique learning environment designed especially for children with diabetes, their parents, siblings, extended family, and friends living with the disease. (Adults with type 1 diabetes and their family are encouraged to attend.)

During formal, professionally-led sessions, question and answer opportunities, and small group discussions sprinkled throughout at-sea transit times, campers will learn about the most up-to-date information regarding living healthy with diabetes, medical breakthroughs in diabetes care, and cutting edge technologies.

The learning continues during informal settings such as poolside chats or dinner table conversations as campers mingle with diabetes professionals and other families facing similar challenges … and succeeding. Camp faculty is eager to share their knowledge in all venues making this experience a memorable one for everyone!

All informational sessions are included in the cost of the cruise.
