Objectives:

Objectives:
Upon completion of the program, the participants will be able to:
· Describe the pharmacology and mechanism of action of botulinum toxin.
· Understand the major issues of cross reacative and neutralizing antibodies, safety and efficacy of the botulinum serotypes.
· Discuss results of retrospective and prospective studies of botulinum toxins in treatment of headache and chronic neck & back pain.
· Recognize biomechanical factors contributing to musculoskeletal pain.
· Determine when to introduce botulinum toxin as a treatment option in patient care.
· Determine dosing, muscle selection and injection technique.
· Explain post-injection care and patient management.
· Understand how to incorporate the use of botulinum toxin in his/her practice.
Conference Sessions generally take place during the days at sea (as cruise itinerary allows) to avoid conflicts with Ports of Call or evening entertainment.
