Program Purpose / Objectives

Statement of Purpose: The purpose of this CME activity is to outline the management of infectious challenges in clinical practice including emerging infections and antibiotic/preventive choices.

“At the conclusion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
• Identify types and management of Pneumonia
• Describe extent and character of emerging infections, including SARS
• Define effects and management of bioterrorism agents
• Prescribe new pharmaceuticals in appropriate clinical settings
Conference Sessions generally take place during the days at sea (as cruise itinerary allows) to avoid conflicts with Ports of Call or evening entertainment.
