Program Purpose / Objectives

Statement of Purpose: To update practitioners and their office personnel on current diagnosis and management of behavioral conditions and issues in children and adolescents.

Preliminary Objectives for Activity: Following attendance at this educational activity, participants should be able to:
• Conduct appropriate history and physical examination of a child presenting with symptoms suggestive of ADHD
• Recognize anxiety and depression in the child
• Assess the progress of the high-risk neonate
• Discuss management of the autistic child
• Outline appropriate behavioral management for children
• Advise care givers and educators on appropriate management

Approval: Continuing Education, Inc. is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists. Continuing Education, Inc. maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Conference Sessions generally take place during the days at sea (as cruise itinerary allows) to avoid conflicts with Ports of Call or evening entertainment.
