| Program Purpose / Objectives |
The purpose of this CME activity is to update the general internist on the current diagnosis and treatment of commonly-encountered adult disease conditions.
Following attendance at this educational activity,
participants should be able to:
Review the classifications of mood disorders
Outline the epidemiology of sleep
Define chronic fatigue
List specific symptoms of hypogonadism
Outline causes for erectile and ejaculatory dysfunction
Discuss the differential diagnosis of migraines
Define somatization
Discuss panic disorder
Consider the relationship between faith and healing
Assess Dyspnea
Discuss lung cancer diagnosis and treatment
Outline the most common sleep state disorders
Evaluate chronic cough
Review the latest treatment options for COPD
Review the epidemiology of asthma
Define insomnia disease state and describe approaches to diagnose and assess insomnia based on standard criteria
Conference Sessions generally take place during the days at sea (as cruise itinerary allows) to avoid conflicts with Ports of Call or evening entertainment.
