The purpose of this CME activity is to allow physicians and other health care providers to improve their communication skills.
Following attendance at this educational activity, participants should be able to:
Effectively influence patient behavior
Appropriately disclose unanticipated outcomes
Enlist patients as active participants in their care
Identify obstacles to empathy
Present a model for conducting a medical interview
Develop a patient-centered interview model
Conference Sessions generally take place during the days at sea (as cruise itinerary allows) to avoid conflicts with Ports of Call or evening entertainment.
