Faculty

Larry Kaskel, M.D., (Internal Medicine) completed his undergraduate training at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. Kaskel received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL. His Internal Medicine Internship and Residency was completed at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Kaskel is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Lipidology, one of the earliest Certified Lipidologists in the nation. In the early 1990's, he participated in clinical trials testing cholesterol medicines alongside Dr. Michael Davidson, one of the nation's leading experts on cholesterol treatment and management. Dr Kaskel is on the staff of Lake Forest Hospital and is proud to be the Founder and Medical Director of Lake County's only Heart Attack Prevention Center.
Dr. Kaskel can be heard on XM Radio (Channel 233) every day hosting "Lipid Luminations," sponsored by the National Lipid Association. He also hosts "The Clinicians Roundtable" discussing timely clinical issues.

Tara Dall, MD graduated in the first class of Diplomats of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology. She was Board-Certified in Clinical Lipidology November 2005, and is one of a handful of United States physicians treating pediatric dyslipidemia. Her clinic has recently become the first fully certified lipid clinic in the United States. She attended University of Wisconsin Madison for undergraduate, medical school training and family medicine residency. Entering private practice in 2001, she formed the Cholesterol & Lifestyle Center in 2006 with the goal of aggressive detection and treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. She has a special interest in advanced lipid testing, women’s heart disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome and pediatric obesity
Because of her passion and expertise, Dr. Dall has been asked to lecture in every venue from hospital and medical school grand rounds to community events on topics such as “Advanced Lipid Testing”, “Pediatric Dyslipidemia”, “Metabolic Syndrome”, “Complex Dyslipidemia” and “Controlling Cholesterol: for the consumer”. She also has appeared on Milwaukee’s FOX news and WISN-TV and recently gave the keynote address for the American Heart Association GO RED for women annual event in Milwaukee, WI.
Dr. Dall is a board member of the Midwest Lipid Association. Other hobbies include competitive ballroom dancing and photography.
