5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise Conference

Faculty

Dr. Eric Rivera was born in Washington, DC and raised in Durham, NC. He is a graduate of the UNC School of Dentistry, where he also completed his training (MS) in Endodontics. He is an Associate Professor, Graduate Program Director and serves as Chair of the Dept of Endodontics at UNC. He previously served as Chair and Graduate Program Director of the Dept of Endodontics at the Univ. of Iowa College of Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, and has served as Section Editor for Endodontics of the Quintessence International Dental Journal. He is on the Scientific Review Panel for the Journal of Endodontics, the Journal of Dental Education, and Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology, and Endodontics. Dr. Rivera received the AAE Endodontic Educator Award in 1996. He has had clinical experience as a GPR Dental Resident at Charlotte Memorial Hospital, private practice as a general dentist, and private practice as an Endodontist.
