Keith Rigsby, MD

Keith Rigsby, MD
Keith Rigsby, MD is a graduate of Jackson State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1998. Dr Rigsby went on to medical school at the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center where I received my Doctorate of Medicine in 2003. It was during this time that I began to see the importance of being an independent practitioner. Focusing on Internal Medicine as my specialty after medical school and completing my residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in 2006.

Upon completion of my residency I joined the Dallas Hospitalist group of Methodist Dallas Medical Center and was also select to join the teaching staff. Shortly thereafter I was elected by the Graduate Medical Education Committee to become an Attending Physician.  It was from this experience I was asked start the Hospitalist program at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center.

One year later the Hospitalist program was up running successfully, I left Methodist Mansfield to pursue my career as an independent physician.  Working as Locum Tenem at Navarro Regional Hospital it was there that I was presented with the opportunity to become the Medical Director of Hospitalist Services at Ennis Regional Medical Center in 2008.   As Medical Director in Ennis I began to see the need for more outpatient care in the southern sectors of Dallas-Fort Worth area and so I established an Internal Medicine clinic in Ennis.

Throughout the years I have worked with various hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, and home healthcare agencies all in an effort to improve post-acute care, patient transfers, and advance the discharge process.  Still working on ways to improve the outpatient process, I joined two other physicians in opening the Urgent Plus Care Center of Ennis in 2013.

I went on later to establish the VIP Healthcare clinic of Ennis in 2014 which has been great source of medical assistance to the community.  VIP has improved access to healthcare by caring for the elderly and providing the appropriate level of care on an outpatient basis.

Julia Worrall RN, CCRN, SANE

Julia Worrall RN, CCRN, SANE

Executive Director, FACE

Julia Worrall is a Registered Nurse, Executive Director of FACE ™ - The Foundation for Airway and Craniofacial Excellence and Co-Founder of Correct Sleep.

There is good reason why Julia Worrall is constantly asked to speak at conferences, high-level meetings, and be interviewed for popular medical podcasts all over the world: this highly sought-after expert in airway health has quickly risen to the top of her field by connecting what was once thought to be disconnected. The result has changed lives and revolutionized medical practices around the world.

Having began her career as a Registered Nurse, Ms. Worrall quickly rose in the ranks from Psychiatric RN, to Emergency Room RN, to Charge RN . She soon landed a contracted position with the California Department of Corrections, where she was instrumental in creating a cultural shift within a historically challenging environment. Charged with implementing federally mandated medical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes, she created collaborative lesson plans and ‘hands-on’ drills to teach correctional officers, doctors, dentists, psychiatry and nursing staff, protocols for reacting to riots and emergencies in addition to the ongoing management of chronic health conditions.

Critical care became her focus for the next several years, working with critically ill or injured clients, pediatric to geriatric. During this time, Ms. Worrall acted as supervisor of all hospital departments, facilitated critical care patient transfers, and coordinated care and discharge planning, among other important duties.

With all this experience under her belt, Ms. Worrall couldn’t have predicted that it would be as a patient that she’d experience her truly career-altering moment. When a dental provider successfully treated her intractable migraines and sleep issues, a whole new world opened up before her. Ms. Worrall developed an insatiable appetite for learning more about this critical link between craniofacial issues and sleep. She took course after course and burned the midnight oil researching to learn more about this little-known connection.

It was her passion for this multidisciplinary link that set Julia’s career in a new direction, and skyrocketed her to become one of the most respected names in airway health. By 2018, Ms. Worrall had founded Correct Sleep, together with partners Dr. Alexandra Porfir and Dr. Deepak Shrivastava. The former had her lecturing at international medical conferences, courses, and events around the world, contributing to respected journals and medical textbooks, and participating in events for correctional medical providers and peace officers. The latter had Worrall involved in every stage of the creation of a worldwide Airway Advocate community, from planning, development, set-up, and implementation of workshops that have changed lives across continents.

She now sits on the Executive Board for the Foundation for Airway Health, the Advisory Board for ALF InterFACE Academy and is a faculty member of the Indian Society for Sleep Research.
