Statement of Purpose:
The purpose of this CME activity is to review the diagnosis and management of medical conditions encountered in the clinical practice of OB/GYN.

Barry Verkauf, M.D., MBA, CPE, Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of South Florida, College of Medicine, Tampa, Florida

Dr. Verkauf is a Reproductive Endocrinologist in private practice in Tampa, Florida. He initiated the first in vitro fertilization program on the West Coast of Florida and is Board Certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is a Certified Physician Executive by the American College of Physician Executives. He serves as a reviewer for several journals and has authored text books in clinical medicine and the business of medicine.

Murray A. Freedman, M.D. has practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology for more than thirty-five years and specializes in Gynecology. A native of Savannah, Georgia, he graduated from the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia where he completed his residency. He joined Augusta GYN in 1974, is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Freedman and his wife Sandra have two children.
