The Boston University School of Dental Medicine is proud to present lectures by three distinguished speakers. These presentations are recommended for the whole Dental Team and will earn participants 9 CEUs. Lectures will take place during “at sea” times.

Cone Beam CT: Contemporary Breakthroughs and Current Trends
Cone beam CT provides 3-D imaging at decreased radiation and lower cost to the patient than traditional CT scans. This course will address recent advances in imaging and how to incorporate these into the dental practice for optimal patient care. The technology as well as the practical uses of CBCT for improving diagnosis and treatment planning will also be discussed.

Soft and Hard Tissue Preparation for Esthetic Anterior Dental Implants

There is a tremendous interest in the restoration of missing teeth with dental implants. When dealing with the anterior maxilla, restoration of dental implants are more challenging due to the site preparation. Site augmentation is essential for esthetically pleasing implants. This course will discuss case selection, the site preparation, and the prediction of different procedures for ultimate esthetic results.
