Program Purpose / Objectives
Predictable Esthetics

Today’s patients have high esthetic demands for natural teeth and implant supported restorations. This course will offer a wide review of clinical cases that will help to understand how to achieve superior esthetics. This course will provide a thorough analysis and exploration for success and predictabilty of dental techniques, clinical procedures, tooth preparation, and dental material used in restorative dentistry.

Early Detection of Oral Cancer
It is known that oral cancer presents in a variety of different ways and the best strategy to improve morbidity and mortality from oral cancer is early detection. The presentation will include a catalogue of cases and discussion of various soft tissue changes that would arouse a high index of suspicion for oral cancer. In addition, pros and cons of currently available diagnostic adjuncts will be addressed.

Pediatric Dentistry: New Approaches to Old Problems
This course will review and update recent advances in pediatric dentistry including risk assessment, early childhood caries, pulp therapy for the primary dentition, behavior management, space maintenance and restorative dentistry for the child. This course will also focus on practical information for the general dentist treating children in their practice. A number of illustrative clinical cases will be included.
Conference Sessions generally take place on days at sea (as itinerary allows), giving you plenty of time to enjoy your meals, evenings and ports of call with your companion, family and friends.

Cruise Line cancellation policies are strictly enforced. For that reason, we urge all of our travelers to carefully consider whether travel insurance is a good value for them.

Certainly, if you have reason to think that "something might come up" that might force you to cancel, travel insurance is worth the cost of the premium. Examples we've seen in the past include ill or frail family members and changes in employment causing relocation.

If travel insurance is the right choice for you, we recommend TravelSafe. To visit their site and explore your options click here or on the link above; this link allows you to price out the insurance plan you prefer. The cruise lines also offer travel insurance and we'd be happy to help you go that route if you'd prefer.
