Program Purpose / Objectives
Statement of Purpose: To review the clinical assessment of selected chronic and infectious disease conditions with emphasis on outpatient management.

Preliminary Objectives for Activity: Following participation in this CME activity, participants should be able to:
• Describe current understanding of emerging diseases including Ebola, Noro, West Nile and others
• Outline briefly the existing knowledge and management of:
HIV/AIDS - Hepatitis - Pneumonias - Influenza - TB Diabetes - Asthma/COPD
• Review Disease State Management concepts involving patient populations, severity levels, compliance/adherence and therapeutic outcomes
• Identify precautions and prevention measures during travel
