Michael Snyder, MD, FACS, FASMBS, DABOM, is a nationally and internationally recognized bariatric and advanced laparoscopic surgeon. He serves as the Medical Director of the Bariatric Surgery Program at Rose Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Snyder earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his surgical internship and residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. He is board-certified in General Surgery and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
A leader in metabolic and bariatric surgery, Dr. Snyder is an active member of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). He leads one of the most comprehensive and highest-volume bariatric programs in the region, having performed more than 10,000 primary and revisional bariatric procedures. He regularly cares for patients from across the United States and internationally.
Known for his expertise, innovation, and commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Snyder is dedicated to advancing the field of obesity treatment. He focuses on improving long-term outcomes through a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach.
