Dr. Kencee Graves is an Associate Professor within the Division of General Internal Medicine and the Department of Internal Medicine at University of Utah Health, and serves as the University's Chief Medical Officer for Inpatient Health. Her clinical practice areas are Hospital Medicine and Palliative Medicine. She enjoys caring for hospitalized patients with a variety of medical problems and working on programs to improve the care of hospitalized patients and to streamline work for clinical teams. Dr. Graves received her MD from the University of Utah in 2010, completed a residency in Internal Medicine in 2013, and served as a Chief Medical Resident. She completed a fellowship in Hospice & Palliative Medicine in 2019. Her passions are improving health care and communication for all patients, as well as supporting and sponsoring physicians in leadership.
