Gina Touch, PhD, is the Behaviorist and Core Faculty for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix (UA COM-P) Banner Family Medicine Residency, with a dedicated focus on Graduate Medical Education and Lifestyle Medicine curriculum development. She holds an appointment as an Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Family, Community, and Preventive Medicine at UA COM-P. Her extensive academic and clinical background includes directing the Behavioral Sciences, Wellness, and Professional Identity Development curricula at the college, as well as serving as a clinical psychologist in Addiction Medicine within the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Touch graduated from the University of Houston with a doctorate in Counseling Psychology and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Geropsychology at the Houston VA Medical Center. She has been a practicing clinical psychologist and a core faculty member in graduate psychology and medical education programs for over 25 years.
