Vikram Surya Chiruvolu, MA, LPC, BSCS, is a community-oriented psychotherapist and computer scientist. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia. As the Founder and CEO of Technotherapy Public Benefit Corporation and as a person with lived experience of long-term recovery from mental health challenges, he brings a unique skill set and perspective to patient care and clinician training. Vikram holds a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of the District of Columbia (2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rutgers University (2004,). His Master's project focused on clinician training on mobile and web technology and was published in a revised version in 2022 in the Journal of Counseling Research and Practice. He has resided in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC, for 20 years and is a passionate public artist and advocate for racial and social justice on a neighborhood level. His community work has been covered by WNBC4 and WAMU, and his writing has appeared in the Washington Post.
