Rose Anne Illes, Ph.D., ABPP, is a board-certified clinical health psychologist and Professor at the Florida State University College of Medicine. She also serves as a staff psychologist at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, where she provides clinical services to the Veteran population and supervises psychology trainees. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and is board-certified through the American Board of Professional Psychology.

Dr. Illes earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and completed an APA-accredited postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology through the Michigan State University Flint Area Medical Education Consortium at Genesys Health System.

With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in health psychology, chronic disease management, lifestyle medicine, integrated primary care, trauma-informed care, sleep medicine, women’s health, and obesity. She previously served as Director of Behavioral Medicine at Lee Health, where she developed and led an integrated primary care behavioral health model within a family medicine residency.

Dr. Illes currently teaches postdoctoral fellows through the Florida State University College of Medicine and provides ongoing didactic instruction to medical residents and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. She has also contributed to community education initiatives and media outreach to increase awareness of behavioral health and wellness. She is recognized for translating complex psychological concepts into practical, evidence-based strategies that enhance patient care and support clinician effectiveness. Her work reflects a strong commitment to education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and advancing high-quality, integrated healthcare.
