Marius-Anton Ionescu, MD, PhD, IFAAD, is a distinguished Board-Certified Dermatologist and Venereologist in the Dermatology Department at University Hospital Saint-Louis in Paris, France. He earned his medical degree from University Paris V, followed by a PhD in Skin Biology and Pharmacology from University Paris VII, and completed an Inter-University Diploma for Lasers in Dermatology at the University of Versailles.
Dr. Ionescu holds numerous prominent leadership roles within the global dermatological community. He serves on the Board of Directors for the International Society of Dermatology and the Membership Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology. A highly recognized expert, he is an Honorary International Member of the American Dermatological Association, an Honorary Member of the North American Clinical Dermatologic Society, and the Delegate for France at the European Union of Medical Specialists.
In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, Dr. Ionescu is a prolific researcher and educator. He serves on the Editorial Board for the Archives of Dermatology Research and has published extensively in numerous top-tier medical journals.
