Program Purpose / Objectives
The purpose of this CME activity is to present an update in the management of the diabetic adult and child

Following attendance at this educational activity, participants will be able to: a. Explain the pathophysiology of Diabetes Mellitus
b. Specify accepted methods of diagnosis and treatment assessment
c. Manage commonly-experienced complications of DM
d. Outline the appropriate use of the various forms of insulin
e. Recognize the significance of DM in the general public
f. Anticipate alterations in the future management of DM
g. Explain the impact of DM on the cardiovascular system
h. Treat Insulin Resistance Syndrome
