PROGRAM PURPOSE
Upon attending the presentations and participating in case discussions, the attendees will have a better understanding of appropriate preventative vaccines and diagnostic methods, awareness of newer antimicrobial agents, and better appreciation of therapeutic principles to provide better care for patients with infections. Emphasis will be placed on issues of vaccine hesitancy, anti-vaxers, and strategies to increase vaccine uptake (especially in light of the increase cases of measles in 2019).
