Internal Medicine Review 2007

7-Night Cruise Conference to Alaska
July 20 - 27, 2007

IMPORTANT ALASKA INFORMATION
Alaskan voters recently approved an initiative that, among other things, imposes a US$50 per person tax on all Alaska cruise passengers. Cruise lines are legally obligated to collect the tax from passengers and remit the monies to the state.

It is expected that it will be implemented and impact all of the cruise industry's 2007 Alaska cruises. Cruise lines will be collecting the tax as part of the final payment for each Alaska cruise.

This conference has already sailed, but that doesn't mean you have to miss the boat! Click here to see our complete schedule of upcoming programs.

Cruise Line cancellation policies are strictly enforced. For that reason, we urge all of our travelers to carefully consider whether travel insurance is a good value for them.

Certainly, if you have reason to think that "something might come up" that might force you to cancel, travel insurance is worth the cost of the premium. Examples we've seen in the past include ill or frail family members and changes in employment causing relocation.

If travel insurance is the right choice for you, we recommend TravelSafe. To visit their site and explore your options click here or on the link above; this link allows you to price out the insurance plan you prefer. The cruise lines also offer travel insurance and we'd be happy to help you go that route if you'd prefer.
