ORTHODONTIC DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT
Dr Bowbeer has developed a diagnostic and treatment method that matches the facial esthetics of movie stars and fashion models. This method makes orthodontic diagnosis much easier and reveals the cause of an orthodontic problem and the logical sequence of treatment to achieve great esthetic results on both children and adults.
This includes:
- The Seven Keys to Facial Beauty and TMJ Health
- The interrelationship between Facial Appearance and the Upper & Lower Arch Width
- The Vertical Dimension, and the Health of the Temporomandibular Joints
- Easy and Efficient Diagnosis using the Four Dimensions of Orthodontic Diagnosis
- The Two Most Important Diagnostic Aids = Complete Set of Photos and a Panorex!
- An Easy Cephalometric Analysis that Correlates with the Facial Diagnosis and only requires 3 Linear Measurements and 1 Angular Measurements (Trace in 10 Minutes)
- The Proper Sequence of Treatment = Orthopedics before starting the Orthodontics!
- Proper Sequence of Treatment for Class I, Class II-1, Class II-2 and Class III problems
- The best retention method that holds the teeth in all three dimensions - no early relapse
TMJ DYSFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS & EFFECTIVE TREATMENT METHODS
Dr Bowbeer has developed a diagnostic and treatment method for patients with TMJ Dysfunction problems that will give almost all patients major relief in 3 weeks to 3 months no matter how long they have had a problem or how many splints the have had previously. This treatment is done with no medications or other treatment additions! It will cover both making a proper diagnosis and an effective treatment method.
- TMJ Dysfunction Diagnosis based on Symptoms = what the patient tells you
and Signs = what you discover during your examination - The importance of seeing all previous splints worn and where the jaw was positioned
- How to easily determine the proper mandibular position for your splint for the patient
- The importance of starting treatment only with a mandibular splint will be explained
- A very specific set of instructions the patient must follow to get rapid relief
- Determining the next step in treatment once the patient has major relief
- The factors that will reveal what the second phase will require
- With this method less that 20% of my patients needed a major 2nd phase of treatment
