Dr. David Glenn Weismiller is a Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine, where he provides full-scope family medicine, including inpatient and maternity care. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, completed his residency training at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, and completed a fellowship in Maternal-Child Health along with a Master of Science (ScM) in Epidemiology at Brown University School of Medicine.

A nationally recognized authority in continuing medical education and faculty development, Dr. Weismiller is a dedicated proponent of reflective practice and learner-centered instruction. He has taught board review programs for the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) for more than 20 years and serves as the founding and current chair of both the AAFP Family Medicine Board Review Express™ and the annual AAFP Family Medicine Update. Additionally, he is a frequent presenter at the AAFP Family Medicine Experience (FMX) and leads American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) Knowledge Self-Assessments nationwide.

Dr. Weismiller has authored numerous publications focused on women's and children's health, continually advocating for evidence-based care and patient empowerment in clinical decision-making. Outside of his academic and clinical responsibilities, he is the proud father of three daughters and makes his home in Las Vegas with his partner, Brian.
