Dr. Elliot Davidson serves as the Medical Director of the Center for Family Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio. He holds academic appointments as Professor of Family and Community Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) and Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OUHCOM). Dr. Davidson graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University before earning his medical degree from NEOMED, subsequently completing his family medicine residency training at Akron General Medical Center.

A dedicated educator and clinical leader, Dr. Davidson served as a Family Medicine Residency Program Director for over a decade, during which his graduating residents achieved a notable 100% first-time pass rate on the American Board of Family Medicine Certifying Examination. Widely recognized for his work in medical examination preparation, he frequently presents on test-taking strategies at local and national forums while actively mentoring medical students, pharmacy students, and resident physicians. In clinical practice, Dr. Davidson focuses on the prevention of cardiovascular disease, contributing as an author and peer reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Lipidology. His institutional service includes co-chairing the hospital Ethics Committee and previously serving as Chairman of the Board of Partners Physician Group. In recognition of his educational contributions, he received the Outstanding Family Medicine Faculty Award from OUHCOM and Cleveland Clinic, as well as the Medical Education Leadership Award from Cleveland Clinic Akron General.

Outside of his clinical and academic responsibilities, Dr. Davidson is married and enjoys spending time with his family, which includes four children and his granddaughter.
