Jen-Ting "Tina" Chen, MD, MS, is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine.
At UCSF, Dr. Chen leads the ICU Liberation Task Force and founded the institution’s CME-accredited Critical Care Medicine Grand Rounds. She also co-leads the national Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) Internal Medicine Section Grand Rounds. Her academic interests include ARDS systems of care, ECMO program development, ICU staffing and flow optimization, and the use of large data to improve clinical management.
Dr. Chen completed her fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center and earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Research Training from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Previously, she served as the Medical ICU Director and Director of Quality Improvement at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
