Dr. Dituri aka Dr. Deep Sea is a retired US Naval officer, and University of South Florida educator who holds a doctorate in biomedical engineering. His research focuses on life support systems, hyperbaric & hypobaric medicine, high CO₂ environments, and traumatic brain injury. He serves as Director of the International Board of Undersea Medicine (IBUM), CEO of the Association for Marine Exploration, and Chairman of the Florida Explorer’s Club, combining his passion for exploration, discovery, and impactful scientific contributions.
